The best strategies for slot games

Are there any strategies that can be successfully implemented in slots? A logical question, given that slots are virtually ineligible for predicting probabilities, as can be done with roulette or blackjack. In a lot of gambling games, based on previous actions, there is a way to predict whether there is a greater or less chance of success in the next one. With slot games this cannot be done, as each subsequent spin is absolutely independent of both the previous and the next.

There is no way to calculate after 10 ineffective spins what is the probability that on the 11th a line will be drawn to put a player in the jackpot area. Especially in computer-controlled digs, the possibility of a realistic guess tends to zero. So when we talk about slot strategies, we mostly mean how we manage our funds. And again, we are reaching for the well-known systems that are used in roulette and sports betting.

Equal bets

We start with the simplest possible option for slots, which is reasonable enough. Pre-allocate your budget for the respective game per number of spins. You place 10 in the game and distribute them to 25 credits of 0.40 (or 50 credits of 0.20). And you play the same bet every time without decreasing or increasing. This is how costs and losses are controlled, although this approach may seem boring to many.

The trick, however, is to find out if the machine in question is "hot" (entered the winning series) or "cold" (negative series). These concepts apply more to casino physical slots and seem less to do with slots in online platforms, but computer algorithms still have some dependencies and probabilities. A Naked Pull strategy means you can determine the number of spins that you leave after the game has not brought you any profit. Specialists recommend bets be between 7 and 13. Let's take 10 as an average - if after 10 spins with credits of 40 pennies (4  in total) you do not have a single winning line, you can leave the appropriate slot and target the rest of the budget to another slot option.

Martingale

This strategy is so fundamental to gambling as a whole that we can't miss it in the slots. Martingale applies wherever there is a bet and a prediction. We recall the basic rule of the system - with each loss the stake is doubled, and if we win we return to the first step. I.e. if you started with a 1 bet on the first spin and it does not win, then you bet with 2, then with 4, 8, 16, etc.

In theory, this strategy always wins, but in practice it often leads to a number of problems. The main problem comes from the need to duplicate bets on a loss, and with a series of 5-6 or more failures they accumulate as a lot of negatives, but it increases in geometric progression and the amount per bet. However, with slot machines it is usually possible to double no more than 6 or 7 times - for example, starting from the threshold of 20 credits per turn (say that 20 credits conditionally are 20 cents, 0.20), followed by options like 40, 100, 200, 400, and so on. These are 5 bets - if there is no winning line, there is no longer a "room" for doubling. The system is already cracking down here because its most important advantage is not guaranteed - any profit eliminates all previous losses.

In addition, the lowest slot gains are half the credit - i.e. with a spin of 20 credits, 10 credits are earned. Respectively, with a spin of 400 credits you earn 200 - not enough to cover the losses. Of course, there are wider range of slots in refinement of bets, and there is the additional option of doubling. But anyway, it's clear that Martingale has its weaknesses in slots, though it works in those games as well, unless it enters a losing streak of more than 5 spins.

Anti-Martingale

This strategy is often used as an antithesis of Martingale, which is also clear from its name. The system, also called Paroli, is also used in roulette and sports betting, and the principle of action is the opposite - the bet is doubled on success, no in case of a loss. We're not talking about doubling the payline that always exists with card slots (red or black). When the spin is losing, we return to the first step.

Paroli sound a bit more logical than a Martingale system. Here, the loss in the general budget accumulates slowly, but even one failed spin erases all profits so far. Moreover, it cannot be doubled again indefinitely, but in this case it can be considered an advantage because it hits the "brake". Anti-Martingale slots are better than the previous slots for this very reason.

A win on the first spin

Another budget-friendly strategy that is pre-determined. The idea is to go through different slots and escape from the loss. It all depends on the first spin - if it wins, you continue as long as you make a win from it without touching your initial deposit. If the first spin is losing - you move to another slot. If you run out of first winnings and the original deposit remains - you move on to another slot. Of course, it can't be relied on that the startup budget will be kept for long, so you also need to set yourself an additional condition - how much of it you tend to risk while changing slots.

Zig-zag

A very popular strategy in traditional casinos like 10bet casino and bet365 casino that involves constantly changing slots and playing several different games at the same time. The system is also called Chicken, and is even easier to practice online, since you don't have to jump from chair to chair - just opening a few separate browser windows and rotating spins on different titles is enough.

The Zig-Zag approach is popular with many players as they see which machine is "hot" and can lead them to success, as well as which one is rather cold. But here, as it has become clear in the previous system as well, the budget for the game and the degree of risk must be determined in advance, which is, in fact, the basis of reasonable gambling.
